Interns may assist with research, data analysis, usability testing, and the development of user-centered solutions. The goal is to improve system performance, safety, and user satisfaction by considering human capabilities and limitations throughout the design process.

Job description

Lakeshore Landscaping is a PE-backed, landscape maintenance platform serving residential and commercial customers across the greater Minneapolis metro area. Backed by Talus Group Holdings, the company is positioned for growth through M&A-driven expansion. The business operates with the discipline and reporting standards of a professionally managed portfolio company, and the Manager of Systems & Integration will play a central role in sustaining that standard as the platform scales.
Salary range for this role is $80,000 - $130,000, plus eligibility for a performance bonus, with PTO, benefits, and 401k.
Position Overview:
The Manager of Systems & Integration is responsible for leading the deployment, adoption, and optimization of Aspire across the enterprise. This includes supporting new acquisitions through the onboarding of Aspire, training key branch employees, and continually refining and advancing Aspire utilization across Lakeshore Landscaping as a whole. Aspire is an integral part of Lakeshore's growth and operational maturity, and as such, this position demands strong initiative, leadership, and independent problem-solving. This is not a role for passive oversight; the successful candidate must proactively identify challenges, design solutions, and execute with limited direction while maintaining strong cross-functional communication.
This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Aspire System Leadership – Act as the organization's subject matter expert on Aspire. Develop and optimize workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve visibility, accuracy, and performance. Collaborate with Branch Managers and department heads to ensure Aspire supports real-time decision-making, job costing, and operational forecasting.
  • Acquisition Integration – Lead the end-to-end technology and process integration of newly acquired companies into Lakeshore Landscaping. Manage all aspects of Aspire deployment, data migration, and process alignment. During integrations, work closely with Talus Holdings resources and the Lakeshore Landscaping HR team to confirm all aspects of each acquisition are complete—including license transfers, system access, and supporting HR staff in the integration of employee information into Inova.
  • Operational Consistency & Process Standardization – Partner with Branch Managers and field leadership to establish best practices, improve administrative workflows, and enforce consistent use of core systems. Ensure that operational procedures, compliance documentation, and financial workflows are standardized and scalable across all branches.
  • Training, Support, & Change Management – Design and deliver structured training programs for Aspire users at all levels. Serve as the primary contact for system-related inquiries and troubleshooting. Promote user adoption and confidence by simplifying complex processes and communicating system benefits effectively.
  • Data, Analytics, & Business Intelligence – Develop and maintain reporting systems that provide leadership with actionable insights into operational efficiency, job performance, and margin management. Utilize data to drive accountability and performance improvement across departments.
  • Continuous Improvement & Technology Expansion – Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Aspire and complementary technologies for efficiency gains. Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate new tools or integrations that align with Lakeshore's strategic goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, business systems management, or operations/technology integration, ideally within a multi-location or field services business
  • Hands-on experience administering an ERP or field service management platform (Aspire experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience leading system implementations, data migrations, or technology integrations, ideally in an M&A or multi-entity environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing deadlines with limited direction
  • Experience designing and delivering end-user training programs and driving software adoption across a distributed workforce
  • Working knowledge of job costing, operational reporting, and financial workflows within a field services or landscaping business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex system concepts for non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience with Aspire or a comparable landscaping/field services ERP platform
  • Prior experience in a PE-backed or multi-entity platform company supporting acquisition integration
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paychex) supporting employee data integration during onboarding
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
