Role: Hardware Design Engineer

Work Location  :  Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term
Implementation Partner - HCL America

Experience Required:

  • 4-7 years of experience in Electronics Circuit Design , Testing & Development
  • Aerospace/Aerospace & Defence experience preferred
  • Proficient in Board bring up, debugging, Engineering validation testing, System integration testing, EMI/EMC testing and Environmental testing
  • Analysing field failures, finding root cause and providing solutions.
  • High Speed Board Testing Experience like using the High-end Oscilloscope (16GHz+), able to perform Eye-pattern and Jitter measurements for High Speed Interfaces like PCIe Gen4, 10G Ethernet

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Speed Digital Circuit Design and Board-Level Power Supply Design
  • Requirement analysis and preparation of design documents (HRD, HLD, LLD, PDR, CDR, DDR)
  • Component selection, schematic design, PCB layout review, and simulation
  • Prototype development, board bring-up, debugging, and system integration
  • Engineering Validation Testing (EVT), DVT, EMI/EMC, and Environmental Testing
  • Field failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions
