Job description

Position: Investor Relations Transfers Specialist – Alternatives/Private Markets

Location:  NYC

Position Overview: 

Role Overview

The second opening is focused on investor transfer activities within the onboarding team. The role requires a strong understanding of transfer processing in alternative investment funds and the ability to manage transfer transactions end-to-end.

Required Experience

·       Direct experience processing investor transfers.

·       Strong knowledge of alternative investment operations.

·       Exposure to:

o Private Equity

o Private Debt

o Investor record maintenance

o Fund administration processes

·       Ability to review transfer documentation independently.

Ideal Candidate Profile

·       Functional subject matter expertise in transfers.

·       Strong operational processing background.

·       Self-sufficient individual contributor.

·       Detail-oriented with strong document review capabilities.

·       Experience working in investor services, transfer operations, or fund administration environments.

Key Responsibilities

·       Process investor transfers accurately and efficiently.

·       Review transfer documentation and supporting records.

·       Validate transfer requests against fund requirements.

·       Coordinate with investors, clients, and internal teams to resolve transfer-related issues.

·       Ensure completion of transfer activities within prescribed timelines.

·       Participate in maker-checker controls and quality reviews.

·       Manage transfer workflow queues and related communications.
