Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, assists in providing pro shop and related services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Keep carts cleaned and in proper rotation to and from cart storage area.
  • Keep cart staging area orderly in regards to proper parking of carts.
  • Responsible to document when carts need maintenance.
  • As directed, clean balls, load machine and pick up baskets.
  • Provide friendly and professional atmosphere at all times for guests.
  • Assist the Golf Course Pro Shop staff as needed.
  • Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
  • Provides excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum age 16.
  • Good customer service skills required.
  • Previous golf experience preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • No supervisory responsibility.

INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Contacts with the public or employees within the organization in the interest of cooperative work accomplishment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may work in elevated areas. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
