Immortal Cinema International, LLC
Los Angeles, California

Immortal Cinema International is accepting applications from currently enrolled college students seeking academic credit during the Fall 2026 semester.

Program Schedule

Term: Fall 2026
Start: Flexible August or September 2026 start date
Length: One academic term, generally 3–4 months
Commitment: Approximately 8–15 hours per week
Format: Predominantly remote, with limited optional production opportunities for interns located in the Los Angeles area

Hours will be arranged around the student’s class schedule and the requirements of their college or university.

Available Areas of Study

Post-Production / Assistant Editing
Learn supervised workflows involving media organization, audio synchronization, footage review, selects, string-outs, project preparation, multicamera editing, and general post-production organization.

Audio Post / Sound Design
Gain exposure to dialogue cleanup, sound effects, Foley, music placement, audio editing, and introductory mixing techniques.

Motion Graphics / After Effects
Explore animated titles, lower thirds, templates, text animation, visual effects, promotional graphics, and motion-based storytelling.

Writing / Script Development
Develop experience with screenplay coverage, loglines, character and structural analysis, comparable-project research, proofreading, development notes, treatments, and pitch materials.

Documentary Development / Editing
Participate in supervised learning involving research, archival materials, transcripts, interview selects, non-fiction story development, and documentary post-production.

Cinematography / Camera and Lighting
Study shot design, visual references, camera preparation, composition, lighting concepts, equipment organization, color workflows, and professional set procedures. Optional on-set opportunities may be available to local interns when productions are scheduled.

Eligibility and Program Structure

This is an unpaid internship offered exclusively for academic credit. Students must:

• Be currently enrolled in a college or university
• Be eligible to receive internship credit
• Obtain school approval before beginning
• Be authorized by their school to participate remotely

The program is designed around mentorship, supervised instruction, and school-approved educational objectives. Interns do not replace employees or assume work that would otherwise be performed by paid staff. Completion of the internship does not guarantee or imply future employment.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for students who are responsible, organized, communicative, and genuinely interested in film, television, documentary, music, branded content, or social-impact storytelling.

Applicants must be able to maintain confidentiality and may be asked to sign a project-specific nondisclosure agreement.

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, sound editing, cinematography, or color correction is welcome but is not required for every area.
