Job description

NABRICO Marine Products is a leading U.S. manufacturer of barges that transport dry and liquid cargoes on inland waterways. NABRICO Marine Products manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum and other refined products, chemicals, fertilizer, ethanol, and other liquid cargoes. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges that transport a variety of products, such as grain, coal, and aggregates.
As a Crane Operator, you'll operate electrically powered, diesel, or rubber tire cranes consisting of operator's cab and movable hoist mechanism mounted on bridge to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk material, using hoisting attachments.
What you'll do:

  • Operate a gantry crane or whirley crane
  • Operate a cab operated overhead crane
  • Operate a steel yard overhead crane
  • Move and lift more than 50 tons
  • May perform as rigger for gantry cranes
  • Operate a mobile crane (move across yard)
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
  • Minimum of 3 years of crane specific experience
  • Must have previous experience with gantry and/or whirley cranes
  • Ability to move and lift more than 50 tons
  • Current crane certification
  • Must have a completed application on file; provide pay expectations
