Job Summary
The Associate Regional Business Manager (ARBM) is an entry-level field sales development role designed to prepare high-potential individuals for future Regional Business Manager (RBM) positions within Tadano.

The ARBM will work directly under the mentorship of Departmental Managers for a minimum of 12 months to develop a deep understanding of Tadano crane products, distribution strategy, CRM process, sales pipeline management, and the Tadano sales philosophy.

This role focuses on learning the full sales cycle within an assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), supporting distributor and customer activity, and progressively assuming increased responsibility as competency is demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development & Training
โ€ขย ย  ย Participate in a structured 12-month mentorship program.
โ€ขย ย  ย Learn Tadano crane product lines (GR, GT, AC, GTC, CC) including specifications, support capabilities, configurations, and competitive positioning.
โ€ขย ย  ย Shadow RBM in distributor visits, customer meetings, trade events, and product demonstrations.
โ€ขย ย  ย Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and product specifications using Tadano CRM tools (Salesforce).
โ€ขย ย  ย Learn to interpret axle weight diagrams and understand state regulatory impacts within the assigned AOR.
โ€ขย ย  ย Support product presentations and assist in delivering distributor and customer training sessions.

CRM & Pipeline Management
โ€ขย ย  ย Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) for assigned opportunities.
โ€ขย ย  ย Assist in managing deal progression through internal approval processes.
โ€ขย ย  ย Monitor pipeline activity and support forecasting efforts.
โ€ขย ย  ย Develop working knowledge of key sales metrics including unit volume, revenue, margin, and market share.
โ€ขย ย  ย Distributor & Customer Support
โ€ขย ย  ย Support distributor sales representatives in educating customers on Tadano product advantages.
โ€ขย ย  ย Assist in identifying and qualifying new customer prospects.
โ€ขย ย  ย Participate in annual distributor review preparation and performance tracking.
โ€ขย ย  ย Support Accounts Receivable/Credit team with follow-up on outstanding receivables as directed.

Market & Competitive Intelligence
โ€ขย ย  ย Conduct market research and competitive analysis within assigned AOR.
โ€ขย ย  ย Monitor industry trends and report findings to RBM and Sales Leadership.
โ€ขย ย  ย Assist in developing strategic sales initiatives and territory growth plans.

Professional Development Milestones
โ€ขย ย  ย During the first 12โ€“18 months, the ARBM is expected to demonstrate competency in:

Qualifications
โ€ขย ย  ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
โ€ขย ย  ย 0โ€“3 years of experience in sales, construction equipment, engineering support, or related industry.
โ€ขย ย  ย Strong interest in heavy equipment and industrial sales.
โ€ขย ย  ย Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
โ€ขย ย  ย High learning agility and coachability.
โ€ขย ย  ย Crane or construction equipment exposure is a plus but not required.
โ€ขย ย  ย Willingness to travel 60% - 70%ย

Pay Range
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually (DOE)
