A national general contractor is adding a certified crane operator to a data center project in El Paso, TX. The work is setting equipment and transformers on a 70-ton or 55-ton Terex crane.
- $46.00/hour
- 5+ months anticipated | 5-6 days/week, 10-hour shifts (50-60 hours/week)
- $175.00/day per diem
- Requires NCCCO certification with TLL endorsement, OSHA 10, and a current DOT medical card

Overview
- Run a 70-ton or 55-ton Terex crane and stay inside the load chart on every pick
- Set up each pick — outrigger position and cribbing, counterweight, boom configuration, radius, and a load chart check before the load leaves the ground
- Set equipment and transformers on an active data center build
- Perform and document daily crane inspections, and shut the machine down when it needs it
- Coordinate every lift with the site superintendent, riggers, and signalperson
- Hold the schedule for the length of the run — five to six 10-hour days a week for 5-plus months
