Job description

We are looking for a highly-motivated software engineer specializing in frontend development (UI) to continue shaping the visual design and user experience of our website. You will be working on the engineering team in the creation of new features, the ongoing process of updating and unifying the visual design of our site. As a developer, you will be involved in every step of the development cycle: building mockups, prototyping, and writing production-ready code. The UI team within engineering will be focused on creating a great site for our customers nationally and internationally. We are looking for folks that enjoy collaboration, A/B testing and seeing their projects come to life.
Qualifications
Technical environment: HTML5, CSS3,JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Bootstrap, Freemarker
A minimum of 2 or more years of experience in web UI Development
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery with proven coding and prototyping skills
Strong web design, layout, typography and iconography skills
Ability to translate high level concepts into wireframes and prototypes
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
Experience in working with cross-functional teams
Exceptional communication skills, with a dedication to detail and consistency
Familiarity with source control systems (SVN and Git is a plus)
Experience with responsive design and email templates
Experience with Bootstrap and Freemarker
Experience with mobile design/development (particularly jQuery Mobile/Phonegap)
