This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills while contributing to the successful delivery of a complex, high-tech construction project.

Responsibilities:
  • Train on quality and commissioning engineering principles across mechanical, electrical, wastewater, ultrapure water (UPW), chemical and gas, controls, and other critical utility systems
  • Assist with commissioning activities to support system verification, startup, and project readiness
  • Perform issue management within commissioning software platforms, including tracking, documentation, escalation, and follow-up of commissioning items
  • Support engineering teams in identifying, documenting, and resolving quality and commissioning issues throughout project execution
  • Participate in system walkthroughs, inspections, punch list verification, and functional testing activities
  • Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, testing records, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, technicians, and cross-functional project teams to support commissioning milestones and construction activities
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures while working in a construction environment
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • Strong technical aptitude within an engineering discipline: Candidates must be 4th year students or new graduates.
  • Interest in quality, commissioning, construction, or semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn structured engineering and commissioning processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with engineering or commissioning software is beneficial

  • Previous internship, co-op, laboratory, research or similar experience is a plus.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
Just For You:
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting quality and commissioning activities across critical engineering systems
  • Learn directly from experienced engineers and industry professionals in a collaborative environment
  • Build practical technical skills while contributing to the successful delivery of a high-tech manufacturing facility
  • High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment upon successful completion of the program
