Pay:  Minimum Wage - $16.94 / hour 
Schedule:  Typically 4 hours per day in a normal week during the school year when meals are served, to cover for an absent cafeteria worker and for training.

The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922.  The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown.  Thomaston is a residential community that consists predominantly of single-family homes affordable across a broad range of income levels.  Residents are served by Thomaston's diversified economic base which includes many small and medium-sized manufacturers offering opportunities to its students through sound annual budgets, diverse course offerings, and internship/exploration programs.
