Job Description Summary

Under limited supervision, uses professional graphic design knowledge and creative expertise, obtained through education and experience, to collaborate with investment, development and marketing professionals in designing and producing sophisticated investor marketing materials that support capital raising, business development and transaction execution.
Creates institutional-quality investor marketing materials that communicate complex commercial real estate investment opportunities through compelling visual storytelling, thoughtful information hierarchy and exceptional design. As an embedded member of the Real Estate Debt Solutions (REDS) team, this role partners directly with deal professionals to develop high-end, print-ready and digital materials that support capital raising, business development and winning new opportunities.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes key contributions to the planning, design and production of investor marketing materials, including offering memorandums, investor books, capital raise brochures, proposals, presentations and related collateral.
  • Partners directly with members of the Real Estate Debt Solutions (REDS), Development and Investments teams throughout the transaction lifecycle to create compelling marketing materials.
  • Designs and produces original layouts, graphics, charts, maps, diagrams, renderings and other visual elements that clearly communicate investment opportunities.
  • Translates complex financial, market and property information into visually engaging presentations using effective information hierarchy and storytelling.
  • Consults with internal stakeholders regarding design concepts, production approaches and project requirements.
  • Produces high-end, print-ready materials utilizing Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Designs and prepares graphics for both printed and digital investor communications.
  • Develops, refines and maintains presentation templates and design standards to improve consistency and efficiency across investor marketing materials.
  • Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency and production readiness.
  • Maintains design templates, graphics libraries and file management systems.
  • Researches and incorporates design trends and best practices appropriate for institutional real estate marketing.
  • Manages multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting compressed transaction deadlines.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal teams to deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
  • Supports client presentations and business development initiatives as needed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge of

  • Strong understanding of design principles with strong technical skills in page design, layout, image editing and vector graphics
  • Understanding of communication concepts, methods and techniques. Fundamental graphic art techniques, including design and layout.
  • Features and capabilities of industry-standard graphics software and graphics production equipment.
  • Creative and interpretive analysis of different art forms theory, principles and techniques.
  • Commercial real estate investment terminology, asset classes and institutional marketing standards.

  • Managing multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Education/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience supporting commercial real estate, real estate investment, capital markets, investment banking or another financial services organization strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience producing offering memorandums, investor presentations or other institutional-quality marketing materials.
  • Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated print design, investor presentations, offering memorandums or comparable institutional marketing materials required.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications

  • None required.

Travel Required

  • Occasional travel for client meetings, presentations, industry events and other business development activities as needed.
