Position Summary:Our organization is dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families through high-quality services, innovative programs, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The Business Analyst plays a key role in helping the organization use data, technology, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve operational effectiveness, support decision-making, and enhance service delivery.

This position works collaboratively with leaders across multiple departments to develop dashboards, automate processes, improve reporting systems, and identify opportunities to leverage technology in support of our mission.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional who possesses strong analytical and technical skills, enjoys solving problems, and is motivated by using technology to help mission-driven organizations operate more effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation and improved workflows.
  • Transform complex data into meaningful information that leaders can use to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain workflow automations using available technology and software such as Power Automate, AI and similar technology
  • Analyze operational, financial, staffing, and program data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain KPI dashboards that support various aspects of organizational decision-making
  • Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Support integration and utilization of Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools that improve productivity, reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Research emerging technologies and identify practical applications within the organization.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand operational needs and develop data-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration.  Relevant education, internships, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree in the field.

Required Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, lookup functions, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Demonstrated experience creating reports or dashboards in Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience creating or modifying automated workflows using Power Automate or similar tools.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power Query.
  • Experience with SharePoint or Microsoft Lists.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or database concepts.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.
