The Prime Information Service Division Internship program provides opportunities for collegiate students, recent graduates and work force re-entry candidates to explore various careers in Information Technology, within UNC Healthcare System. Potential candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience, working with motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare System IT professionals, while expanding their knowledge base, building resumes and gaining relevant course related and career experience. Interns will work on tasks and projects as determined by the team/department they are working with.ย Responsibilities will include shadowing our senior team members coupled with hands on task and project assignments.ย

  • Support interactive workshops, learner journeys, storyboards, and role-based learning pathways.ย 
  • Apply instructional design principles to help create AI use case examples and scenario-based activities that promote responsible AI use.ย 
  • Maintain AI resource libraries and organize educational content for reuse.ย 
  • Support AI community events, presentations, learner feedback, and engagement activities.ย 

Applied AI & Automation Analyst (1) : Hybrid - Onsite/Remote position

  • Conduct business requirement meetings with stakeholders, vendors, and subject matter expertsย 
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business requirementsย 
  • Document business requirements, risks, assumptions, benefits, costs and decisions within demands and projectsย 
  • Document and track Ideas, Demands, and Projects in the Shared Enterprise Services Project Trackerย 
  • Provide project support for Business Analysts and Project Managersย 
  • Track project milestones, action items, and deliverablesย 
  • Assist with oversight of entity-supported projects, initiatives, and operational tasksย
