Sales Development Representative

Full-time

Posted 19 days ago

Job description

Capital markets are undergoing a fundamental shift. Assets that live in fragmented systems and manual workflows are moving onto blockchains -systems designed to move and store value more transparently and efficiently.
While this unlocks more open and programmable financial systems, it also introduces significant complexity. For most users, interacting with this new infrastructure is still too difficult.
Fun builds the infrastructure that powers consumer-facing fintech applications - handling onboarding, account access, and money movement so users can interact with blockchain-based systems as seamlessly as they do with traditional finance.
For fintech builders, Fun provides a best-in-class onboarding and deposit stack that drives conversion and unlocks user growth. We operate at the intersection of financial infrastructure, complex engineering, and product experience.

About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to build relationships with new accounts. Working alongside our Head of BD, you'll open doors at the fastest-growing companies in payments, fintech, and iGaming - researching target accounts, starting consultative conversations, and booking qualified discovery meetings.

This is a high-visibility seat at the front of our go-to-market motion. You don't need crypto experience - we'll teach you the technology. We need someone who writes sharply, researches deeply, and is relentless about follow-through.

Responsibilities
  • Generate pipeline: Research target accounts and craft personalized, relevant cold outreach across email, LinkedIn, and Telegram.

  • Qualify opportunities: Run intro calls to understand a prospect's deposit/conversion challenges and determine fit before handing off to the deal owner.

  • Work events: Attend industry conferences and ecosystem events to build relationships with target accounts and convert conversations into meetings.

  • Own the data: Keep the CRM accurate and current.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years in sales development, business development, or client-facing roles: payments, fintech, SaaS, or adjacent sectors preferred.

  • Exceptional written communication: you can turn account research into a four-sentence email that gets a reply.

  • Organized and detail-oriented: You track dozens of live conversations without dropping one.

  • Proactive and resourceful: You figure things out before asking, and you ask good questions when you do.

  • Curious about crypto, stablecoins, and the future of on-chain payments.

  • Comfortable with CRM and outbound tooling (e.g., Attio, Apollo.io, Claude) or quick to learn.

Nice to Have
  • Existing relationships or experience in payments, fintech, iGaming, or crypto.

  • Sales internships or experience at early stage software companies.

Why Join Us
● Shape the future of payments and programmable money
● Work with bleeding-edge tech in a domain where innovation moves fast
● Join a mission-driven team focused on access, openness, and trust
● Be a key contributor, not just a cog—your work will ship fast and matter
● Collaborate with top-tier protocols, builders, and financial infrastructure providers

Location and Work Environment This role is primarily in-person at our Midtown, NYC headquarters. We work together Monday through Thursday for fast, iterative collaboration and optional WFH Fridays to reset and recharge.
