We are currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Construction Loan Coordinator.
Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
• Administer construction loan portfolio. Process loan advances and reductions, track insurance, quote payoff figures, and apply interest payments.
• Initiate the loan set up within the loan origination system with loan specific draw schedules for complex loans.
• Construction monitoring of residential construction loans.
• Careful review of draw requests to identify possible budget problems and elevate to supervisors with recommendations for resolution.
• Coordinate all site inspections for loan draws relating to the construction loans and title bringdowns.
• Review inspection reports and draw documents for accuracy, and for conformance with the budget, loan approval, and Loan Agreement.
• Facilitate the approval of draws requests through the approval process.
• Provides operational guidance, coaching, and support to loan officers and other lending staff.
• Act as a champion of the construction loan product both internally and externally.
• Ability to establish draw schedules and budget tracking using Excel workbooks and internal systems based on the requirements of the loan approval, loan documents, and construction contract.
• Update ledgers, budgets, and the funding log.
• Understanding of construction documents, and the ability to identify and elevate issues contrary to documentation.
Candidates must also have knowledge in:
• Strong construction loan processing skills.
• Bank’s secondary market policies and procedures
• Other bank policies and procedures as they apply to the secondary market lending function
• Loan platforms utilized by the secondary market department
• Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending
• Investors’ guidelines
• Work well independently as well as within a team environment
• Work well under pressure to consistently meet stated deadlines
• Organize activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Quickly adapt to new procedures and processes as loan regulations change
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and employees of other banks with which the Bank does business
• Dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences
• Professionalism in conduct, communication and appearance

Enter Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• One year of banking experience, including loan processing or loan operations and customer service, strongly desired
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software and use of the Internet
• Encompass experience preferred.
This position reports to the Mortgage Director of Operations.
