Interns at most internship companies are often given hands-on responsibilities that align with the company's core business. Depending on the industry, interns may assist with research, support ongoing projects, participate in team meetings, and help prepare reports or presentations. Many companies strive to give interns meaningful work that contributes to real outcomes, allowing them to develop practical skills and gain insight into industry-specific workflows. Collaboration with full-time employees and feedback from supervisors are common, ensuring interns have guidance while learning on the job.
