As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to expand our network of employer key accounts across the United States. This role plays a critical part in the optimization and continued growth of our J-1 Visa programs. You will educate host employers on J-1 Visa regulations while opening career development placements for international interns and trainees.

This position is ideal for a sales-driven professional with experience in the hospitality and tourism industry who thrives on relationship-building, lead generation, and closing new business. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using CRM software.

  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, social media, and industry outreach.

  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers at new host employers and identify upsell opportunities.

  • Schedule and conduct meetings (including face-to-face) to assess client needs and present tailored solutions.

  • Organize and lead speaking engagements at local and national events.

  • Research industry trends and identify new opportunities to expand business.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive networking and partnership development.

  • Secure J-1 training agreements with new host employers in full compliance with all visa regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a comparable sales-focused role.

  • Demonstrated and consistent sales success.

  • Experience selling services rather than products.

  • Proven success with telephone and video-based sales.

  • Strong relationship-building and rapport development skills.

  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Hospitality experience (hotels, restaurants, country clubs) strongly preferred.

Preferred / Desired Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Hospitality or tourism industry experience.

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience in business development or a related field.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet goals.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic or high-pressure environments.

  • Ability to travel as needed.
