Job description

Customer Service Representative (Business to Business) LHH is looking for a Business-to-Business Customer Service Representative. This position supports business clients and internal service teams by managing orders, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the order lifecycle. The role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to partner with internal teams to deliver timely and accurate solutions to customers. This position is permanent placement and will pay between $23 and $25/hr. Duties:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for business customers and internal field service teams via phone and email.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a focus on accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to company processes.
  • Troubleshoot service-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions to minimize business disruption.
  • Process and manage service and sales orders within order management and warehouse systems.
  • Assist customers in identifying correct product or part specifications based on their needs.
  • Generate and provide quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking details in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and transaction documentation.
  • Proactively follow up with clients regarding open inquiries, orders, and service requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and logistics, to resolve order or service issues.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting business clients.
  • Prior experience working with order management and warehouse management systems (OMS/WMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
Preferred:
  • Experience reviewing technical drawings or specifications.
  • Background supporting customers in a production, distribution, or service-oriented environment.
Education and experience:
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a business-to-business setting
