NBC & Telemundo Connecticut Internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television industry.  Internships at NBC & Telemundo Connecticut are paid and do not require course credit. 

Pay rate is minimum wage. 

NBC Connecticut & Telemundo Connecticut are looking for a team player to join our Sales team.  As a Sales Marketing intern on this team, you will support the development of multiplatform campaigns and strategies that drive advertising revenue for the stations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the creation and development of sales marketing materials including custom sales presentations, campaign recaps, performance highlights, one sheets.  

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with sales team to develop creative solutions for advertisers 

  • Assist in the sourcing of leads for sales team that could lead to development of new business revenue - stay on top of current events, market trends, emerging business categories and competitive efforts to identify innovative revenue streams 

  • Work with a cross-functional team to track and execute marketing initiatives. Work with the various departments responsible for deliverables: production to execute on commercial and lifestyle production, creative services to assist with graphics for sales campaigns, digital team to launch online campaigns, etc. 

  • Assist in coordinating commercial production and lifestyle show workflows that include gathering elements from sales reps, scheduling projects, overseeing edits and attending shoots to get products on-air in a timely fashion 

  • Help with the execution and build of social media contesting and promotion: assist in submitting requests for rules & regulations, submitting production requests for creative, reconciling winners, and recapping campaign success 

  • Help coordinate marketing, event and community activities by tracking event dates, identifying resources necessary for events (marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, news coverage, volunteers), distributing tickets, ordering supplies and assisting in on-site execution as needed 

  • Provide various administrative support on daily tasks. 

  • Program Dates:  Summer 2026 

  • Time commitment is 200 hours per semester
