Location: Hybrid – Columbus/Reynoldsburg, OH
Job Type: Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Multimedia Production Designer to support the development and execution of engaging visual content for store communications, associate education, and customer-facing initiatives. This role partners closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to produce high-quality digital, video, print, and multimedia assets while ensuring consistency with established brand standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career designer or production professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, balancing multiple projects, and bringing creative concepts to life across a variety of media.

Key Responsibilities

Multimedia & Video Production

  • Edit video content for associate training, internal communications, engagement initiatives, and social media.
  • Create simple motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling.
  • Assist with video production, including pre-production preparation, on-set support, and post-production editing.
  • Perform basic audio editing and optimize multimedia content for multiple platforms.

Digital Production

  • Adapt creative assets for digital channels, including:
    • eLearning modules
    • Presentations
    • Email communications
    • Social media
    • Internal communication platforms
  • Ensure all digital deliverables align with brand standards and technical specifications.

Print Production

  • Prepare production-ready artwork and package files for commercial printing.
  • Coordinate print production and delivery timelines with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Review files for quality, accuracy, and production readiness.

Creative Production Support

  • Create mock-ups, prototypes, and production comps to support project development.
  • Assist with translation workflows, formatting, publishing, and asset distribution.
  • Support senior designers with layout, production, and revisions for both internal and external communications.
  • Contribute creative ideas that strengthen visual communication and overall project execution.
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to production schedules while managing multiple assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field preferred; equivalent training or relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Internship, freelance, or early-career experience in graphic design, multimedia production, or creative services.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
    • InDesign
    • Illustrator
    • Photoshop
    • Premiere Pro
    • After Effects
  • Understanding of typography, page layout, composition, color, motion graphics, and basic audio editing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to receive feedback and incorporate revisions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
