What does an internship aesthetic sales representative do?

An Internship Aesthetic Sales Representative supports the sales team by learning about aesthetic products and services, assisting with customer outreach, and helping to promote products to clients such as dermatology clinics, med spas, or cosmetic practices. Responsibilities often include shadowing senior sales reps, participating in product demonstrations, conducting market research, and helping to manage sales leads and customer relationships. This role provides hands-on experience in the aesthetic industry and is designed to help interns gain practical skills in sales, client communication, and industry knowledge.

To thrive as an Internship Aesthetic Sales Representative, you need foundational knowledge of sales principles, a strong interest in aesthetics or skincare, and often a relevant educational background. Exceptional communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills help you stand out in this client-facing role. These abilities are crucial for effectively connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and driving successful sales outcomes in a competitive market.
