Assistant Digital Delivery Specialist

Location: Chesapeake, VA Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an Assistant Digital Delivery Specialist to support digital project delivery efforts across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. This role will work closely with project teams and leadership to assist in the implementation of digital delivery strategies, Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, and collaborative project workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and eager to contribute to innovative project delivery solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the facilitation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of digital delivery standards, processes, and tools.
  • Assist with digital delivery initiatives for integrated project delivery and design-build projects.
  • Support digital delivery tasks while adhering to project scopes, schedules, budgets, and QA/QC standards.
  • Participate in clash detection reviews and support issue tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
  • Assist with updates and modifications to digital model presentations for client deliverables.
  • Support the development and enhancement of virtual reality simulations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research, compile, and maintain project-related data and conduct metadata audits.
  • Assist with creating digital delivery content and materials for project proposals and pursuits.
  • Support the implementation of digital delivery methods, procedures, and technologies.
  • Assist with integrating digital delivery schedules and monitoring project compliance requirements.
  • Support project setup activities including model file setup, digital project configuration, project access management, cloud-based services, digital procurement, and other project support functions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
QualificationsRequired
  • One of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Virtual Design and Construction, Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited program; OR
    • Associate degree plus two (2) years of experience planning, organizing, training, and delivering complex BIM models and digital project deliverables; OR
    • Four (4) years of experience planning, organizing, training, and delivering complex BIM models and digital project deliverables in lieu of a degree.
Preferred
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Prior internship, co-op, or consulting experience.
  • Involvement in campus organizations, professional associations, or community activities.
Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledge of digital delivery software, standards, workflows, and project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of BIM software, including Revit.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering programs.
  • Understanding of digital collaboration platforms and project coordination tools.
