Job description

We are seeking an experienced Install Technician II to support fiber internet installations for residential customers in the Irvine area. This role involves running fiber optic cables inside homes, performing splicing and testing, and ensuring all installations meet company quality and safety standards.

This position is ideal for technicians with strong fiber installation experience, customer-facing skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Install fiber internet service inside residential homes, including running fiber optic cables and performing fiber splicing
  • Test fiber connections and ensure proper signal and service functionality
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on fiber internet equipment as needed
  • Follow company safety protocols and installation procedures at all times
  • Ensure installations meet quality standards and perform corrections when needed
  • Document installation and service activities according to company procedures
  • Communicate with customers regarding installation schedules and service updates
