US & International Tax Associate – Nashville, TN

Direct Counsel represents a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Tax Associate to join its growing Nashville office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with tax experience—or a strong corporate/transactional background looking to transition into an M&A tax practice.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of tax experience, preferably in a law firm environment, and strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on U.S. and international tax matters.
  • Support M&A and transactional tax matters.
  • Conduct tax research and analyze complex issues.
  • Assist with structuring and executing sophisticated transactions.
  • Draft and review tax-related agreements and legal documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across corporate and transactional practices.

Qualifications
