The role

Benchmark International Tax Partners is looking for an International Tax Manager to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on international tax role working with multinational corporations, closely held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.


You’ll manage international tax compliance and consulting engagements, advise clients on complex cross-border matters, and turn technical tax issues into clear, practical recommendations.


Key Responsibilities

As our International Tax Manager, you will:

  • Manage international tax compliance and consulting engagements.
  • Review international information reporting, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 1118, and 8992, as applicable.
  • Research complex international and cross-border tax issues.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, client deliverables, and recommendations.
  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support.
  • Manage client relationships, deadlines, workflow, and quality.
  • Review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns where required.
  • Mentor and support Tax Associates.
  • Support client onboarding and prospective client meetings.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • An active CPA, EA, or JD credential.
  • 5+ years of public accounting or tax advisory experience.
  • Strong international tax compliance and consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of international information reporting requirements.
  • Experience researching complex cross-border tax matters.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
  • Previous leadership, supervision, or mentoring experience.
  • Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
