Position Overview:
The Senior Manager in International Tax Services will manage a wide range of complex global tax engagements, advise multinational clients on cross-border strategies, and lead consulting initiatives while fostering the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
โ— Lead the full scope of international tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements for a diverse client base.
โ— Advise multinational clients on global tax implications, coordinating U.S. and foreign law to optimize strategies.
โ— Consult on cross-border structuring, tax treaties, offshore investment, and repatriation strategies.
โ— Structure inbound investments for foreign entities, including U.S. withholding, treaty planning, and FIRPTA considerations.
โ— Manage engagement budgets, objectives, resources, billing, and performance.
โ— Identify risks and provide solutions to complex tax issues.
โ— Mentor, develop, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
โ— Support practice development and contribute to client relationship-building efforts.
โ— Educate clients and team members on international tax developments.
โ— Stay current on global tax regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
โ— Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masterโ€™s in Taxation or LLM preferred.
โ— CPA and/or JD required; LLM in Taxation is a plus.
โ— 7+ years of progressive international tax experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
โ— Strong expertise in outbound/inbound transactions, transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, and tax minimization.
โ— Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
โ— Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
โ— Experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus.
