Job description

We are seeking a Director - International Strategy to support global business initiatives across international markets within a leading media and entertainment organization. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role working closely with senior leadership, including SVP/EVP stakeholders, to drive strategy projects, market analysis, and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting or corporate strategy experience, deep analytical skills, and prior exposure to media and entertainment industries.
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite - 5 Days/Week)
  • Contract Duration: Till August 2026
  • Rate Range- $90-110/hr on W2

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end strategy projects including scoping, analysis, recommendations, and executive communication
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from corporate functions such as Strategy, Finance, Investor Relations, and Communications
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis across international regions and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Support business development initiatives including partnerships, market entry strategies, and commercial frameworks
  • Partner with Corporate Development on M&A, joint ventures, and strategic growth opportunities
  • Develop executive-level presentations, board materials, and reporting on international performance and strategy
  • Support financial planning processes including long-range planning, budgeting, and investment strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DTC, Studios, and Corporate functions
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and support transformation initiatives impacting international business

Required Qualifications:
Core Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Background in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy
  • Direct experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or tech-media industries
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently from problem definition to recommendation
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with ability to create executive-ready presentations
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership (SVP/EVP level)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be based in Los Angeles and able to work fully onsite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • MBA from a top-tier program
  • Exposure to international markets through project work or regional roles
  • Experience supporting C-level or senior executives
  • Exposure to corporate development activities such as M&A, joint ventures, or partnerships
  • Prior experience in media, entertainment, or streaming companies
