Job Purpose: Lead and manage a robust team of sales professionals, driving sales strategy and targets, cultivating relationships with key accounts, and expanding Gourmia's reach into new domestic and international retail and distribution channels. Deliver top-tier performance by effectively collaborating with department leaders to optimize sales operations.

Job Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales objectives aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Mentor and manage the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring that they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with major retailers.
  • Continuously identify and pursue new sales opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
  • Attend high-stakes meetings with key clients, actively participating in negotiations to close significant deals.
  • Collaborate with department leaders, especially operations and product teams, to synchronize strategies and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Address and preemptively mitigate any operational or product delivery issues that might impact sales or client relationships.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor strategies to adjust and optimize the sales strategy accordingly.
  • Create detailed sales reports for the executive team, showcasing performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sizeable sales teams.
  • Proven track record of establishing and cultivating relationships with key retail accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience in expanding into new markets or sales channels.
Knowledge and Skills
  • In-depth understanding of the retail landscape, both domestically and internationally.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Working Conditions
