The Role

We are seeking an Equity Research Analyst to join our Curi Capital Equity Team in our downtown Chicago office. In this role you will work closely with portfolio managers and senior equity analysts to provide investment insights across internal strategies that range up and down the market cap scale and address both domestic and developed international markets.ย 

In this role, you will join a group of experienced investment professionals who provide portfolio management and equity analysis for Curi Capital's actively managed internal strategies. In identifying attractive investment opportunities, the team employs both industry standard as well as proprietary equity research systems and data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze companies across sectors of the market to provide investment insights to portfolio managers and senior equity analysts.ย 
  • Conduct primary due diligence for idea generation and monitoring of current positions.ย  Research activities may include company research and financial modeling as well as regular communication with management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.ย  Perform other investment analyses upon request.
  • Gain familiarity with the proprietary Curi economic return corporate performance and valuation framework.
  • Proactively support the goals and objectives of the Equity Team in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications

  • An ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in buyside equity research
