Job Description
We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our Expert Radar team to support the building of comprehensive expert profiles through the review and analysis of biographical, professional, and litigation-related information. An Expert Radar is comprised of AI-driven research and profiling designed to create a comprehensive summary of an expert's background. Our Research Analyst is primarily responsible for curating expert professional, litigation, risk, and credibility content to be presented to attorney-clients in a profile format. The candidate will ensure the quality and accuracy of content before it is delivered to attorney-clients, while analyzing and interpreting information from a variety of professional, legal, and public sources.
You will work across various professional and legal databases and platforms to research and validate information, convert Curriculum Vitae and other source materials into profile format, and identify and summarize expert litigation activity. This may include professional licensure, publications, speaking engagements, media presence, industry affiliations, work experience, areas of specialization, civil litigation, court documents, judgments, and other relevant records.
Our Research Analyst will:
  • Analyze and validate critical content and data points relating to subject matter experts
  • Research and evaluate information from multiple professional, legal, and public sources, including professional licensure, publications, media, industry affiliations, work experience, areas of specialization, and litigation activity
  • Utilize legal research databases and other relevant tools to collect and validate information, including reviewing case dockets, pleadings, court documents, and judgments
  • Review relevant litigation documents, including motions, affidavits, court orders, subpoenas, depositions, and jury verdicts
  • Convert and organize information from CVs, research findings, and legal records into accurate, comprehensive expert profiles
  • Identify discrepancies across sources, investigate underlying information, and determine the most accurate representation of an expert's background
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with domestic and international research teams to resolve discrepancies, improve workflows, and meet project deadlines
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy, quality, and productivity in a KPI-driven environment
