Palm Beach County, Florida - Locums Gastroenterology OpportunityClinical Role:

  • Locum tenens opportunity
  • Start date: ASAP - ongoing
  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible gastroenterologist
  • Inpatient work only
  • Weekend call coverage

Coverage Needs:

  • Fridays at 7a - Tuesdays at 7a
  • Ability to work 1-4 weekends a month

Schedule:

  • 24-hour call coverage
  • Very low patient volume

Onboarding:

  • Paid online Epic training/test-out required prior to start
  • 1-2 hour in-person paid orientation
Clinical Details:
  • Bread and butter gastroenterology cases
  • ER emergencies (GI bleeds, obstructions, etc.)
  • Round on your own patients
  • Perform emergency consults (approx. 7-9 per 24 hours)
  • No advanced procedures required
  • Solo GI coverage (no APP support)
Technology:
  • EMR: Epic
  • Provation used for GI procedure documentation
