Job description

About this opportunity:

As a Product Manager on the Internal Tools Team, you will define and build the systems, platforms, and automation that power how our teams operate and engage with customers. Your work will directly impact sales performance, customer retention, and operational efficiency across the business.

This role is both strategic and execution-focused: you will own the vision, roadmap, and outcomes of internal products that enable teams to execute on company-wide strategy at scale.

What you will be doing:

  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Define and drive the vision and roadmap for internal platforms and automation that elevate team performance, streamline workflows, and enable more effective customer engagement.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Identify and implement opportunities to apply AI and automation within internal workflows, reducing manual effort, improving decision-making, and increasing the quality and consistency of customer interactions.
  • Zero to One Product Development and Ownership: Lead the end-to-end development of new internal products, platforms, and systems, from concept through launch. Own the adoption, performance, and measurable impact on key business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Customer Success, Onboarding, Support, Finance, and Legal teams to identify needs, define requirements, and ensure successful rollout and adoption of internal tools. Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, ensuring buy-in across the organization.
  • Customer Insights and Feedback: Engage directly with internal users to gather feedback and insights that will drive product improvements and future innovations.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage product, usage, and other business performance data to inform decisions and maximize impact. Continuously analyze product metrics and user behavior to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate effectively with executive leadership, demonstrating strong executive presence and the ability to influence strategic decisions through clear and compelling product insights and recommendations.

What you should have:

  • 2+ years of product management experience with a track record of successfully delivering web-based products, ideally in SaaS or communication tools.
  • High agency and ownership, with a willingness to tackle problems end-to-end, learning what's necessary along the way to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Enthusiasm for AI, with a solid understanding of AI systems, including autonomous agents and their practical applications.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced technical environments, adept at working with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide projects through key milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and continuously optimize for growth and customer success.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, AI, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact products.
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in SQL and data visualization tools to drive data-informed product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product strategies, updates, and insights to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Experience leading the development of new products from scratch, with a strong bias toward action and execution in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
  • A passion for driving customer engagement and helping local businesses succeed through innovative tools and experiences.

What we hope you have:

  • You are a first principles thinker who isn't just building features but solving problems
  • The desire to move at a breakneck pace
  • A refusal to accept previous norms knowing what is now possible with the use of AI

Why you'll love working here:

  • You'll own a high-impact product area with real autonomy: the roadmap, strategy, and day-to-day direction for Podium's marketing tooling ecosystem.
  • You'll work on meaningful problems at the intersection of AI, internal tools, and marketing, with the chance to bring structure and innovation to a space that needs clear ownership.
  • You'll collaborate closely with highly engaged stakeholders across marketing and operations, and play a central role in improving how teams work internally.

Benefits

  • Open and transparent culture
  • Life insurance, long and short-term disability coverage
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Fertility Benefits
  • Generous vacation time, plus three 4-day summer holiday weekends
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401k Plan
  • Bi-annual swag drops with cool Podium gear and apparel
  • A stellar HQ (Utah) gym with local professional coaches and classes offered
  • Onsite HQ (Utah) child care center, subsidized for employees
