Apex Placement & Consulting is looking for a highly organized and dependable Regional Operations Coordinator to support our growing operations in the New Castle, Delaware region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping processes on track, catching the details others may miss, and creating a smooth experience for candidates, employees, and internal teams. The Regional Operations Coordinator will take ownership of key onboarding and administrative processes, helping ensure every requirement is completed accurately and on time.
Candidates should live within approximately 90 minutes of New Castle, Delaware and be comfortable providing support throughout the region as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Audit employee onboarding files to ensure all required paperwork, screenings, and compliance steps are completed
  • Identify missing or incomplete information and follow up with the appropriate team members
  • Assist with coordinating and scheduling candidate interviews
  • Enter and maintain job orders, candidate information, and employee records
  • Facilitate new-hire paperwork and support candidates throughout the onboarding process
  • Track onboarding progress and communicate updates, delays, or outstanding requirements
  • Help maintain accurate and organized electronic records
  • Provide administrative and operational support to recruiting, account management, and leadership teams
  • Assist with special projects and additional regional needs as they arise
  • Communicate professionally with candidates, employees, clients, and internal partners
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting support, HR administration, onboarding, compliance, auditing, or a similar operations-focused role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items simultaneously
  • Experience reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of assigned processes
  • Strong computer skills and comfort learning applicant tracking systems and other technology
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and company information professionally
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the region as needed
  • Residence within approximately 90 minutes of New Castle, Delaware preferred
Strongly Preferred
  • Previous staffing agency experience
  • Experience supporting high-volume employee onboarding
  • Familiarity with employment screenings, background checks, drug testing, I-9 documentation, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system or HR information system
  • Previous responsibility for compliance reviews, file audits, or process documentation
