The Internal Marketing Communications Specialist plays a key role in strengthening relationships with agency partners, promoting company products and services, and driving engagement through strategic communications, training, and marketing initiatives. This individual will leverage strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills to support agency growth, enhance brand awareness, and deliver meaningful insights that influence business decisions.

The ideal candidate is a creative, customer-focused professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships, analyzing results, and developing communication strategies that make a measurable impact. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple business areas while helping shape the voice and visibility of the organization.

This position will be with Berkshire Hathaway Homestates Company in Omaha, Nebraska and is not eligible for Employer Visa Sponsorship.

What Will You Do?

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with agency partners through phone, email, virtual meetings, training sessions, and other communication channels.
  • Serve as a trusted marketing resource by communicating product updates, business initiatives, marketing opportunities, and process enhancements to agents and business partners.
  • Support agency growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, recruiting, and onboarding prospective agency partners.
  • Monitor and report on agency performance, marketing activity, submission trends, and engagement metrics to uncover opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Design and deliver training programs, webinars, presentations, and educational resources for agency partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support industry events, conventions, trade shows, promotional campaigns, and branded merchandise initiatives.
  • Compile, validate, analyze, and report on marketing and business performance data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer and agency experience.
  • Demonstrate and promote a positive team culture by collaborating effectively, supporting coworkers, and contributing innovative ideas and solutions.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • One or more years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, customer engagement, business development, or a related field. Additional experience is preferred.
  • Experience creating marketing communications, digital content, presentations, training materials, campaigns, or customer engagement programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.PowerBI and CoPilot experience preferred but not required.
