Job Shift: Days
Job Type: Full Time
Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months
Patient Care Managers are Registered Professional Nurses who direct and evaluate patient care activities occurring within their assigned area of responsibility. They must understand principles of fiscal management (including direct responsibility for operational and capitol expenditures), implement performance improvement strategies, maintain educational standards for staff, ensure provision of staff development programs, assess customer satisfaction, and assure the standards of patient care are maintained. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications:
  • Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing; or Matriculation in a Baccalaureate Program with a nursing focus will be accepted as long as completion of program occurs within 2 years of accepting position.
  • CPR certification (Basic Life Support) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Minimum Experience:
Two years of nursing experience within the area of clinical focus. One year of nursing management experience.
Physical Requirements
1. Frequently required lifting 5-40 pounds.
2. Occasionally may lift greater than 40 pounds with assistance of staff member and/or approved lifting device.
3. Frequently required to operate standard office machines, computers and telephones.
4. Frequently required to walk, bend, push and pull.
5. Required to have adequate vision and hearing.
