About This Role K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Academics/Strategic Learning Post Graduate Intern. This position is responsible for providing academic support to a caseload of students that includes developing and monitoring academic plans, assisting with development of study skills and individualized learning strategies; assisting students with course and major selections, grade and eligibility requirements; connecting to tutorial and academic support resources; developing and maintaining academic records and reports, and other projects assigned by the fulltime staff.

What You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree at time of application in higher education, special education, or related field
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Working knowledge of NCAA eligibility bylaws
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in higher education, special education, or related field
- Experience in student-athlete academic support / athletics academic services
- Experience working with at-risk student-athlete populations
- Experience working as GA in athletics academic support; in secondary or post-secondary education as a teacher or paraprofessional, or other related area
Sponsorship eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
