Job description

As a Marketing Intern with Opry Entertainment (OEG), you'll engage in experiential learning in live entertainment marketing while supporting the promotional efforts that drive audiences to our iconic venues, with a focus on events and co-promotions with key partners in and around Nashville. Our paid internship program offers current students hands-on experience with marketing initiatives, including audience acquisition, sweepstakes and partnership activations, project coordination, quality reviews of marketing materials, sponsorship fulfillment, and other campaign-related projects. As the ideal candidate, you bring enthusiasm to learn, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for music and marketing.

This is an in-person position based in Nashville, Tennessee. Remote work, relocation assistance, and visa sponsorship are not available.   • Assist with audience acquisition and lead generation initiatives to drive audience growth.
  • Support sweepstakes rollouts, including identifying partnership opportunities, defining plans and prizing, developing briefs, and coordinating timelines and launches. Track KPIs and manage prize fulfillment.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of partnership activation plans.
  • Provide project support by creating and managing timelines, planning project needs, coordinating with key stakeholders, updating brand calendars, and providing project status updates.
  • Conduct reviews of marketing elements across owned channels and third-party sites, including promotional offers, to ensure brand messaging quality and consistency.
  • Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship exposure elements and coordinate the execution of sponsor-related requests.
  • Additional projects may include consumer insights research, supporting onsite activations, preparing promotional graphics, creating UTMs, and developing campaign overview decks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying Music Business, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 1+ years' completed coursework in Music Business, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Experience

  • Experience in promotions, events planning, publicity, band management, or public relations preferred
  • Social media marketing experience and knowledge of country music preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Passion for entertainment, hospitality, marketing, and business, with an interest in sales
  • Able to take initiative on individual tasks while working collaboratively with a team
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to think on your feet and handle new challenges
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop skills, basic HTML knowledge
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to experience full
    cycle business operations

Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate and use both near and far vision. Frequently sit with some walking and
standing for office/property navigation. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Continually use gross motor skills
with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills for computer use.

Working Conditions
In-office position based in a corporate environment with individual workspaces and shared common
areas which support focused work while encouraging regular interaction among colleagues. Moderate
background noise typical of a collaborative office setting. Occasionally in entertainment venues.
