Location: Corporate Headquarters - Baton Rouge

Position Overview
The Healthcare Price and Transparency Data Analyst Intern will support key initiatives related to pricing and transparency reporting, helping ensure compliance with Blue Cross Association and federal mandates. This role contributes to the delivery of accurate cost data for common medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments. The intern will also assist with analytics and reporting for facility and professional reimbursement, payment integrity, medical coding, and other provider-related areas.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in validating healthcare pricing data and preparing transparency reports.
- Support analytics and reporting efforts for reimbursement and provider services.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement evaluations and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
What We Are Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, ISDS, Economics or related analytical field.
- Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel as well as SQL and Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment and team-oriented.
