Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Intern for our Summer 2027 internship program! You will take part in many day-to-day accounting and finance activities as well as involvement in team projects.
This role will be part of the U.S. Energy Accounting and Finance team. U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with month-end/year-end (analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)

  • Support the finance team in developing operational analyses

  • Help pull/develop support for both internal and external audit requests

  • Work with the internal audit team to maintain the internal control framework

  • Project work focused on analysis or process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled as an Accounting or Finance Major
  • Systems proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Customer Service skills
