Citizens State Bank is a top-performing and community-focused financial institution with a strong commitment to serving our customers' banking needs. We are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to fill an Audit Specialist position in our La Crosse location.
This full-time, entry-level position is based in our La Crosse office, where candidates will assist with deposit and loan account audits; examining the accuracy and completeness of records and procedures for internal control to safeguard Bank assets and ensure areas of the Bank are following policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. This individual will report audit findings to Management, along with making suggestions to mitigate risk. It is essential that applicants have excellent judgment and communication skills, possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and demonstrate the ability to follow policy and regulations while multitasking and working well under pressure to meet deadlines. In addition, qualified candidates must be self-starters and able to work independently in a changing environment while being flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities. Previous audit experience is not required.
