  • Job Title: Infor LN functional consultant
    Location: San Diego
    Experience: 7+ Years
    Job Type: Contract
    Type: Onsite 5 days/week in office (no remote option)
     
    Job Title: Infor LN Consultant – Planning (MPS/MRP)
    • Role Overview
    o Experienced Infor LN functional consultant specializing in enterprise planning, with strong expertise in MPS, MRP, and planning master data management
    o Responsible for designing, configuring, and stabilizing LN planning processes to support manufacturing and supply chain operations
    • Core Responsibilities
    o Lead design and optimization of planning processes, including MPS, MRP, forecasting, and supply/demand balancing
    o Configure and maintain LN planning parameters, item planning setup, and master data structures critical to planning accuracy
    o Ensure integrity and alignment of planning master data (items, lead times, order policies, supply sources) to support MRP execution
    o Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for planning issues (shortages, incorrect signals, capacity constraints)
    o Collaborate with business stakeholders (planning, procurement, manufacturing) to align LN solutions with operational workflows
    o Support implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across LN planning modules
    • Required Experience & Skills
    o 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in planning/manufacturing domains
    o Deep expertise in:
    § Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
    § Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    § Planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing
    o Strong understanding of planning master data structures and dependencies (item planning data, order policies, horizons, planners)
    o Experience in multi-site/global manufacturing environments preferred
    o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
