Creative Intern

Job Description:

The Creative Intern at Loudr is a high-energy, aspiring creator who is ready to roll up their sleeves and learn the ropes of a fast-paced agency. This seat is designed to provide a well-rounded, hands-on experience by supporting the Creative Director and both Associate Creative Directors across production, copy, social, and design. You will assist in bringing big ideas to life while gaining exposure to the strategic and executional workflows that drive client success. This role is perfect for a person with a "hunger to learn" and a bias toward action.

Functions:

  • Creative Execution & Design Support
    • Assist the ACD of Social & Design in creating visual assets for organic social media and digital campaigns.
    • Support the production team with video shoots, assisting with moodboards, ideas, and shotlist coordination.
    • Provide basic design and layout support for project presentations.
  • Copywriting & Content Assistance
    • Support the ACD of Production & Copy by drafting branded captions and short-form copy.
    • Assist in proofreading and editing creative deliverables to ensure they meet Loudr's high-quality standards.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop "bold, brand-right" creative concepts for client campaigns.
  • Strategic Research & Audit Support
    • Assist the Creative Director in gathering market research and competitor insights for brand audits.
    • Conduct trend research on emerging technologies and platform updates.
    • Support the preparation of creative decks and moodboards for new business pitches and RFPs.
  • Project Coordination & Agency Workflow
    • Attend internal creative reviews to learn how to provide and implement "actionable feedback".
    • Shadow various creative teammates to learn about different aspects of the creative process in a full-campaign.
    • Participate in other tasks or projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Art & Design, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Canva.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • A growing portfolio that demonstrates creative potential and an understanding of digital/social platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of how to use AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.

What Success Looks Like

  • You provide consistent, high-quality support that allows the Creative Director and ACDs to focus on high-level strategy.
  • Your creative contributions are brand-aligned and require minimal revisions over time.
  • The creative team views you as a proactive, reliable, and "inspired" contributor to the agency culture.
