Job description

Responsibilities
Sabre Systems is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support our team in working with operational and customer stakeholders. The successful candidate will help gather, process, and organize data from various sources, and assist in basic data visualization and analysis tasks. You will work with team members on important projects that contribute to our analytics capabilities.
  • Assist data engineers and developers in collecting and preparing data for analysis
  • Support data analysts and data scientists in organizing data sources for analytics projects
  • Help communicate with business and operational stakeholders to understand their data needs
  • Assist in documenting data sources and data pipelines (such as creating data dictionaries and flow diagrams)
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Up to one (1) year of related experience (internships or academic projects welcome)
  • Basic knowledge of at least one analytical programming language (such as Python, R, or SQL)
  • Familiarity with code repositories & version control (such as Git)
  • Exposure to at least one BI/visualization tool (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik)
  • Strong interest in learning about data analytics and working with customers
  • Interest in cybersecurity or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Basic understanding of analytics concepts (such as statistics or machine learning)
  • Experience with dashboards (school projects or internships)

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $20.00 - $20.00
