Precise Systems is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with Circuit Card design experience to join our dynamic team in Arizona. This mid-career position requires no travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work location at our client site in Arizona. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience:
The role starts as a six-month contract, with the possibility to grow into a long-term or permanent position based on your performance and the company's needs.
This role requires in-person support.
Duties:
  • You will be responsible for supporting our client operations in Arizona, working on technical projects that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain engineering solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • This role involve tasks such as schematic capture, physical layout, component selection, simulation, and testing.
  • In this role, you will apply engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop systems or components according to requirements.
  • You will be expected to conduct tests, collect data, and document results to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
  • The position involves working with CAD software to create technical drawings and models, as well as participating in design reviews and providing technical input to improve existing processes.
  • You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, implementing corrective actions, and providing regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
  • The ability to interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is essential for success in this position.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)

Required Experience:
  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Circuit Card Design experience
  • Demonstrated experience in design, development, or maintenance of engineering systems
  • Experience with testing methodologies and quality control processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment
  • Previous experience with engineering software applications
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical reports
