As an RF Module Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and quality in analog and RF test. You will play a pivotal role in the design and manufacturability of Intel's cutting-edge products, ensuring they meet both internal and industry standards. This role offers you the opportunity to make a tangible impact by developing and implementing advanced testing methodologies that directly contribute to product performance, reliability, and overall excellence. Collaborating across teams, you will influence design-for-test (DFT) initiatives, optimize production testing, and support product development from feasibility through production ramp. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and develop testability and manufacturability of analog and/or RF products
  • Design test boards with suppliers to test RF products
  • Collaborate with customers to develop optimize production testing
  • Develop and debug software programs to drive advanced test equipment such as BERTS, scopes, and automatic test equipment (ATE).
  • Perform ATE-to-DV correlation, debug functionality and performance issues
  • Evaluate new analog IP designs on ATE and work with design and product development teams to identify and resolve functionality and performance issues.
  • Perform ATE and bench device characterization
  • Release production test solutions that ensure product quality, yield optimization, and post-release issue resolution.
  • Test and characterize analog circuits for power and thermals, including thermal profiling and recipe tuning for production thermal control.
  • Provide calibration for power delivery enabling power and performance binning.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States government customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions.

  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain andmaintainUS Government TS Security Clearanceand SCI access
  • Bachelor's and 3+ years or a Master's and 2+ years or a PhD and 0 years in electrical engineering or related STEM degree with 3+ years of experience in RF design and test
  • 2+ years of experience with IC Test experience
  • 2+ years of experience in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development
  • 2+ years of experience with lab equipment such as mixed-signal oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, TDRs
  • 2+ years of experience with electrical simulation tools such HFSS, ADS, PowerSI
  • 3+ years of experience with board design using Cadence Allegro


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Digital, Analog, Mixed signal, high speed testing, tester hardware design
  • Programming skills with scripting language such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $115,110.00-219,550.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
