Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: Hudson, NH-Onsite
Duration: 3+ months with possible temp to perm
Pay: $48-$51/hr. (depending on experience) 
Shift: 9-80 Schedule. 1st Shift
MUST HAVE Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Debug Intel Processor Boards Server Architecture Exp
  • Production experience Debug knowledge
  • Knowledge of Digital interfaces 
  • Looking for someone who can come in and be up and going quickly. 3 months assignment with potential to be hired

Position Overview:
  • Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to lead advanced debug and validation efforts for Intel-based server motherboards.
  • This highly technical role calls for a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in hardware-level diagnostics, as well as the vision to drive process improvement and test strategy innovation across teams.
     
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead root-cause analysis and complex debug activities on Intel server motherboard platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation scripts.
  • Collaborate with design, BIOS, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve product issues and improve first-pass yields.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance test efficiency and reliability through automation, tool development, or workflow optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and set quality standards in test methodology and execution.
     
Required Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in hardware validation, system-level debug, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in Intel architecture, server platform features, and debug tools (e.g., ITP, JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing robust validation plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
     
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) for automation.
  • Experience with manufacturing test flows or high-volume production environments.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, reliability analysis, or Six Sigma processes.
