Contract Type: W2
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Lehi, UT (#LI-Hybrid)
Pay Range: $37 - $42 per hour on W2

Job Summary:
The Cyber Defense Analyst will investigate and respond to cybersecurity alerts, conduct security investigations, and support the CSIRT team in containing threats and protecting sensitive data. This role requires analytical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, global 24x7 security operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and respond to security alerts from multiple sources; conduct investigations to identify indicators of compromise
  • Perform event correlation using enterprise data sources to gain situational awareness
  • Coordinate with CSIRT team members on containment and incident response activities
  • Maintain meticulous case management and documentation to support investigative dispositions
  • Participate in rotational opportunities across incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in investigations, documentation, and automation
  • Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors in the evolving cybersecurity landscape
  • Engage as an active member of a global security operations team (including weekend coverage)
  • Assist in creating and maintaining investigative process documentation
Must-Have Skills:
  • Experience conducting cybersecurity investigations or related activities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think critically under pressure
  • Familiarity with SIEM systems and broad set of security tools/datasets
  • Understanding of security and privacy fundamentals
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks
  • Collaborative mindset with relationship-building capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Industry Experience:
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity investigations or security operations
  • Exposure to global 24x7 security operations environments (preferred)
Note- This role require 10 hours/day working and 4 working days (Wed-Sat)
