Lead Exceptional Projects. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee luxury residential interior renovation projects throughout New York City. This is an opportunity to join a respected construction team specializing in high-end apartment and townhouse renovations where craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are the foundation of every project. We're looking for a field leader who thrives in luxury residential construction, understands the expectations of homeowners, architects, and designers, and takes pride in delivering exceptional finished spaces. If you have extensive experience managing high-end interior renovations, custom millwork installations, and skilled subcontractors while maintaining demanding schedules and quality standards, we'd like to speak with you. What You'll Do / Responsibilities:
  • Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through final completion.
  • Manage luxury residential renovation projects valued up to $5 million.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and daily jobsite operations.
  • Maintain project schedules while proactively resolving field issues.
  • Ensure all work meets architectural plans, design intent, and the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Perform daily quality inspections throughout each phase of construction.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, designers, consultants, and homeowners.
  • Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain clear field communication.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and professional jobsite while ensuring compliance with NYC Department of Buildings, OSHA, and Site Safety Training (SST) requirements.
What We're Looking For / Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Superintendent experience managing luxury residential or high-end interior renovation projects.
  • Proven experience overseeing occupied residential renovations in New York City.
  • Strong knowledge of custom millwork, finish carpentry, cabinetry, architectural finishes, and premium interior construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional references from recent construction employers.
Required Certifications:
  • Active NYC Site Safety Training (SST) 62-Hour Supervisor Card
  • Working knowledge of NYC Department of Buildings safety regulations and OSHA standards
