ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Understand basic handling and protection of furniture
    • Follow SOPs for proper use of wrapping materials
    • Follow SOPs for proper lifting techniques
    • Follow SOPs for proper use of material handling equipment
  • Understanding and use of basic scanner functions involved in moving inventory throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with loading/unloading trucks/containers consisting of boxes/packages of product/supplies
    • Use material handling equipment to load and unload items safely
    • Follow SOPs for proper packing and protection of items
    • Follow SOPs for proper scanning of inventoried items to account for movement within the warehouse, or externally to job site location
  • Assist in projects throughout the warehouse to keep products stored in a clean, organized, and safe manner
  • Assist with quality control of products throughout the distribution process by visually inspecting items for damages and blemishes.
  • Use of Order Picker forklift (after completion of provided training)
  • Understand inventory SKU and S/N designations.
  • Understand proper usage of material handling equipment.
  • Properly uses PPE as needed
  • Capable of performing basic cleaning and minor refurbishing of products
  • Conversational English required

There are two schedules available for this position:

1st Shift: 5am-1:30pm, Mon-Fri

2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri

There is an occasional need for additional assistance on Saturday as dictated by business need.

Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent, minimum of one-year warehouse experience.
